OFFF Lisbon ‘08

I’ve been invited by Boolab to speak at the OFFF Lisbon last weekend, i had a super great time.
I presented my work and talked about the transition from being a member of AÄB to
work with the Boolab gang as part of their director’s roster.
I meet Bradley Grosh (aka Gmunk), im a longtime fan so it made my day

Waves in a large free sphere of water

A year ago i came across a video by Dan Pettit, the Nasa Astronaut and his saturday morning experiments. I was amazed by his enthusiastic narrations of the experiments. The VO of his videos are comparable to a sportscaster on the final match of the soccer world cup, plus, the guy is floating in zero gravity and playing with water bubbles, what it makes the speech completely surrealistic if you take the image apart.
I been playing with the idea of using the audio since i saw it. The opportunity came to me a month ago, i was asked by the guys in Boolab to do a piece by playing with their new brand image. I did it myself in after effects in a couple of days. Thanks Pettit.

Channel Cuatro

This is new piece i pitched a couple of month ago, i wrote several scripts for the treatment and i was lucky enough that Boolab paid for the production of this one.

To my beloved dead boards

I did this video as a burial ritual for all those boards i unsuccessfully pitched.
I borrowed the music from the great richard cheese.

Navigon

I aided Laurent Barthelemy from Psyop with art, and postproduction direction for his spot of Navigon GPS.

Cancelled Project

Im finally publishing a compilation of this project in the form of a boolab spot. It was a long term project for Cartoon Network that got cancelled after 6 month of work. I recycled the piece and here it is:
